I’ve always felt digital didn’t have as good an “atmosphere” as other mediums. With digital, you can almost take as many as you want, so you don’t have to be as selective, and there’s also no surprise or anticipation of waiting for film to be developed :p

I had read that somewhere when I was looking at other options for developing, but I had heard more about Dwayne’s so I decided to try them out.

For what it’s worth, I’ve discovered that the Walmart in Elizabethtown will send out C-41 120 (to a Fuji lab, I think). Best part is that they’ve been charging me around $1/roll to develop (negatives only). Downside is that it takes a couple of weeks.

Can’t wait to see you again! I really hope to make it to the outing on Saturday. What a wonderful experience for you to travel and spend the summer in a new city. If nothing else, it makes you appreciate what you have. :) Have a safe trip home!

"Alzatraz!" Man, San Francisco will forever remind me of Eddie Izzard. Pam, I think what you've done is awesome; a road trip over Summer appeals to me much more than, say, traveling around the world for a year like some of my friends have. Good job you've taken many fab photos, too.

I saw this a few weeks ago & was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. While some parts were way cheesy, it was really good for the most part. I've never laughed out loud and do it so loud so many times as I did during this film.
