Project 31 begins… again!

Back in May 2011 I decided to do a month long photo project. I’m very happy I did that project even though I went well over into June to get all 31 photos. There were days when life was mundane and the photo reflected that, so I thought I’d rather get quality images out. The project helped me get out when I normally wouldn’t, and as a result I got photos I really liked in the process.

I’m not entirely sure why I chose May a couple of years ago but I’m missing my camera, and so I’ve decided to do it again for this month. May seems like a good month to do it since it’s not in the heart of a Kentucky summer (when I usually want to hibernate) and shouldn’t be as busy as other months. Now that I’m out of school for the summer, work and my own projects are the only things keeping me busy.

I’m excited to see what photos I come up with during this project especially since Cory and I are going to the Grand Canyon this weekend… and the project will be (unintentionally) ending on our one year anniversary! I hope you’ll join me!

Here are a few of my favorites from said project in 2011:

YAY! i’m so excited for you. i’ve been feeling so much the same, that i miss photography. a friend asked me yesterday what i thought had gotten me away from it and i don’t really know. i like the idea of a month of daily photos as a kickstarter (i actually have a set called kickstart that i did a few years ago, where i did a month here and there of daily photos), and i like a lot of my photos from those times, too. i don’t know what it is. sometimes i wonder if project 365 like broke me, in terms of being able to just shoot photos on the fly without some rule making me do it 😉

I have no idea how you did multiple project 365! I mean it took me almost 2 months to complete this month long project before.

I NEED that “Cuter than a Cupcake” shirt in an adult-size. Also, she.. has gotten so big and adorable.

I thought that when I bought it, unfortunately none of those were in adult sizes at Target! lol. 🙂
